"Here’s why we like Susan. First of all, I just love her eye for design. Her stuff is minimalist, not cluttered, and just honestly very cool. She’s been the art director for two publishing houses in New York and has overseen teams who design book covers, and I think there’s a lot to be said for people who design book covers – they have to catch an eye in one glance, with a limited palette to work with. I find many parallels with a good design for webwork. We’re gonna get more bang for our buck with her. As you look at her site, spend time looking at some of her corporate identity and logo work as well – some of that stuff is like something you’d find in a top of the line design house, and she’s doing the work for what seems to be pretty affordable prices. (Note that she designed the website for Barack Obama’s recent book.) She’s the real deal, and she’s our first choice."
